Skopix - AI Chatbot compliance monitoring

Continuous, independent monitoring for AI chatbots, so compliance gaps don't go unnoticed between audits.

The problem:
One assessment isn't enough

Most AI chatbots are reviewed once, at launch or ahead of an audit, then left running unmonitored. But chatbot behaviour isn't static. Models update, edge cases emerge, and small drifts in behaviour accumulate quietly over weeks and months.

Some organisations try to solve this by setting up a manual review schedule - quarterly checks, say, run by whoever has time. In practice, these processes rarely hold up. Reviews become irregular as other priorities take over, get treated as a formality rather than a genuine check, and eventually stop happening altogether, often without anyone noticing, until something goes wrong and surfaces the gap.

Skopix is built to catch what point-in-time assessments and informal manual processes miss: the gap between when something starts going wrong and when someone notices.

How it works: Independent, continuous, no integration required

Skopix monitors your chatbot the way a real user would, using synthetic probing rather than requiring access to your code, model, or infrastructure. There's no SDK to install and nothing to integrate. Skopix interacts with your chatbot externally, the same way your customers do.
Each monitoring cycle checks four areas:

Scope adherence

Does the chatbot stay within its intended purpose, or does it drift into territory it shouldn't?

Refusal & safety behaviour

Does it correctly decline inappropriate, harmful, or out-of-scope requests?

Disclosure

Does the chatbot clearly identify itself as an AI system rather than presenting as a human?

Behavioural consistency

Does its behaviour stay stable over time, or has something drifted since the last check? Drift is scored 0–100 against an established baseline, with alerting when the score crosses defined thresholds

What you get: Evidence you can act on and hand to others

Each report is mapped to two core frameworks included as standard - NIST AI RMF 1.0 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023, plus up to three optional frameworks: Australian VAISS, EU AI Act, UK ICO AI Auditing Framework, Singapore PDPC Model AI Governance Framework, or China's Generative AI Measures.

The report is backed by a timestamped, tamper-evident audit log generated independently and stored outside your own infrastructure. Skopix infrastructure is hosted in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2).
Because monitoring is continuous, you also get something a one-off assessment can't offer: a track record. When a customer or regulator asks "how do you know your chatbot is still compliant," the answer becomes a report you can show them, not a promise you have to make.

Skopix is the first of our AI assurance products. We also build bespoke monitoring and governance tooling for organisations whose requirements no off-the-shelf product covers, where the system to be monitored is unusual, the evidence has to fit an existing reporting line, or the constraint is regulatory rather than technical.
